Where We Work
Piedmont Tree Care Co. is based in Culpeper, Virginia, where US-29 and US-15 meet the Norfolk Southern main line and Mountain Run cuts through town toward the Rappahannock. The truck parks here at night. We are not a Metro DC company with a service-area page.
Our route covers all of Culpeper County, from Brandy Station and Stevensburg to Richardsville, plus small spots like Boston on US-522 and Catalpa on US-29. Past the county line we go to Remington, Bealeton and Warrenton in Fauquier, Leon, Brightwood and Madison in Madison County, Unionville and Orange in Orange County, and Amissville and Sperryville in Rappahannock.
The ground is red clay over rock almost everywhere, with sycamore and river-bottom soil along the Rappahannock and the Rapidan. Every town gets the same crew, the same written estimate and the same price ranges.
Culpeper County (unincorporated), 6.6 road miles and 11 minutes. The village at the 1863 cavalry battlefield, the largest of the Civil War; the shortest run we make, and the one we make most.

Culpeper and Orange counties (unincorporated), 12.9 road miles and 23 minutes. The river village on the Rapidan with its old mill dam, straddling the county line.

Fauquier County (unincorporated), 15.8 road miles and 24 minutes. The US-17 and US-29 junction, and the fast-growing edge of southern Fauquier County.
Madison County seat, 17.1 road miles and 25 minutes. The county-seat town in the Blue Ridge foothills at the head of our Madison County route.
Orange County (unincorporated), 17.2 road miles and 27 minutes. The Route 20 crossroads in northern Orange County, our first Orange County stop.
Rappahannock County (unincorporated), 17.6 road miles and 28 minutes. On US-211 where Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties come together.

Fauquier County seat, 22.8 road miles and 36 minutes. Old Town Warrenton and the county around it, the far end of our route up US-29.
